How to sell/convert USDT (Tether) to Fiat/Cash in Binance: USDT(exchange) → Fiat
Download Binance from the Google play store, Register and verify.
Selling Crypto via P2P is a 3-stage process:
- Deposit or Transfer Crypto,
- Creating a sell order
- Receiving cash.
Step A: Transfer or deposit crypto into Binance
1a. Transfer Crypto from Spot or Futures wallets to Funding wallet (within Binance)
- Step 1 of 12: Select Assets (on the bottom right) > Go to Funding
- Step 2 of 12: Select Transfer > Select Spot Wallet or USD-M Futures (as applicable) in the From field > Ensure Funding is selected in the To field
1b. Deposit crypto from an external wallet to Binance, follow this link.
Step B: Create a Sell Order

Select Buyer who wants to buy your respective crypto in exchange for the respective cash you want e.g. USDT-KES
(NB Buyer selection criteria are availed below)*
- Step 3 of 12: Select Assets (on the bottom right) > Go to Funding > Select Send.
- Step 4 of 12: Select P2P Trading (if preferred withdrawal method)
- Step 5 of 12: Select the preferred Fiat Currency e.g. Kes that you would like to receive in exchange for crypto
- Step 6 of 12: Select the respective Crypto you would like to sell i.e. search for USDT
- Step 7 of 12: Select Sell to create a sell order

Complete Sell Order details
- Step 8 of 12: Select By Crypto
- Step 9 of 12: Enter the Amount of Crypto to sell
- Step 10 of 12: Select a buyer with the Payment method that you would prefer the buyer to pay you with.
- Step 11 of 12: Select Swipe to place order

A. Service Metrics
- Completed percentage >99% : (Indicates reliability)
- Total trades >1,000 trades : (Indicates good experience)
- Liking percentage >99% : (Indicates reliability)
- Time 15min or less : (Indicates availability)
B. Financial Metrics
- Rate: Sell: Higher rate is better or Listed on top
- Crypto amount: The higher the amount the better.
- Limit: look for Liquid & Inclusive
- Max: The higher better: (Indicates liquidity)
- Min: The lower the better: (Indicates inclusivity)
- Payment method: The more the options the better (Indicates accessibility)
To ease the selection criteria do the following (handle financial metrics as follows):

Filter for respective amount you want to get (based on local currency)

Filter for Payment mode you would want to receive
