Good morning, this cold rainy morning
Some good insights I saw somewhere ….
Meet Professor Mamokgethi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town
Lesson: Investment is like planting as pointed out in my coaching.
Planting is hard, seeds look lifeless, and taking care of plants is even harder. However, it is believing in the future of lifeless seeds that triggers farmers to start planting. It’s the hope for a tomorrow of harvest that keeps him focused on the cause.
Lesson: To be successful you need to work, make the sacrifice from your comfort zone and be encouraged by the big picture.
It reminds me of this ….. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
So in essence let’s not allow little disappointment and distractions to sidetrack us.
Lessons: Work hard, play hard. Be smart as you put your time, skills and energy to work. Major on the majors, not the minors.
Productivity is better than mere Activity.
Lesson: Slow progress is still progress. Run, walk or crawl just keep on moving.
THE GREAT PARADOX: Blessings with persecution, favour with detractors, abundance with opposition. I add plants with weeds.
It is what it is, you just have to do what needs to be done. I wish it was all smooth, but HIS GRACE is sufficient in that when I’m weak then I’m strong. This is the test that proves if you are worthy to handle the blessings.
BE YOU DO YOU. No pressure. Be intentional to remain authentic. There’s a good reason why your DNA, fingerprint, biometric, voice, etc are unique for you and only you among the over 7 billion.
You were created an original don’t become someone’s else cheap copy. You are uniquely and wonderfully created.
CHAMPIONS: Same rain falls on all of us.
Are you a victim, survivor or conqueror?
We are more than conquerors for we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us, for all things are possible to them that believe.
And smile
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Fortune favors the bold.
