Setting up the Binance App for new users

Step 1: Click the Binance profile icon at the top left (i.e. The Yellow icon as shown below)

Step 2: At the bottom, Select BINANCE Pro to switch to Pro mode from Lite mode.

Buying Crypto via P2P is a 3-stage process:

• Creating a buy order,
• paying for a buy order
• and delivery of crypto.

Step A: Create a Crypto Buy Order in Binance

Instructions are shown below the diagrams.

Step 1 of 9: Select Assets (on the bottom right).

Step 2 of 9: Select Overview (Tab on top) > Select Add Funds > Select P2P Trading

Step 3 of 9:

• Select your preferred Currency (if not pre-selected on the Top Right, the currency that you will be purchasing with) >

• Select Buy (if not pre-selected)

• Select USDT (if not pre-selected)

• Select the seller who has your range and preferred payment method e.g. the first seller limit is between 50,000 Kes to 500,000Kes so if buying for 100,000 Kes he is within your range and if you prefer to pay using Mpesa Paybill.

• Seller - Click the arrow to read how to review a seller in general (For purchases below 1000 USDT)

A. Service Metrics

1. Completed percentage >99% : (Indicates reliability)
2. Total trades >1,000 trades : (Indicates good experience)
3. Liking percentage >99% : (Indicates reliability)
4. Time 15min or less : (Indicates availability)

B. Financial Metrics

1. Rate: Buy: Lower rate is better or Listed on top
2. Crypto amount: The higher the amount the better.
3. Limit: look for Liquid & Inclusive
   1. Max: The higher better: (Indicates liquidity)
   2. Min: The lower the better: (Indicates inclusivity)
4. Payment method: The more the options the better (Indicates accessibility)

To ease the selection criteria do the following (handle financial metrics as follows):

• Filter for respective amount you want to purchase

• Filter for Payment mode you would want to use

• Now primarily to focus on service metrics </aside>

• Seller - Click the arrow to read how to review a seller in detail for purchases above 1000 USDT (In addition to General review instructions)

Step B: Pay for the Crypto Buy Order that was created in Binance

Step 4 of 9: Enter the “Amount” you want to pay and click “Swipe to place order” to create the order

Step 5 of 9: Select “View Payment Details”

Step 6 of 9: Open your payment platform, “Transfer funds to seller’s account based on payment details”.
